What have The Death Star, Ice Planet Hoth and Endor all got in common?
They are all scenes from this range of Star Wars Micro Machine Playsets.
In the mid 1990s a range of Star Wars micro machines were released. Below are a trio of Star Wars micro machine playsets based on three popular scenes from "A New Hope", "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."
These small but perfectly formed toy sets were instant Star Wars collector classics, perfect for display but also with interactive elements you can't help playing with them.

At the same time micro machines issued a series of Star Wars micro vehicles too. These will be featured in another post.
Unboxed, these (being the first range of playsets) might fetch £10-£30, whereas a complete boxed one could go for over £100 (of course, sometimes they can go for a lot less - it's often just a question of timing.)
